Dr. Zehua Gao

Dr. Zehua Gao is currently a research scholar at UCLA and the cofounder of 36Kr, a digital media platform focused on providing science and tech information for Chinese Internet readers and startups. He is also an associate professor at School of Information and Communication Engineering of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). After graduating from BUPT with a Ph.D. in Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Technology, Dr. Gao became  a lecturer at School of Telecommunication Engineering of the same university. He also created and taught entrepreneurship courses at school before “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” statement was written into the Chinese economic policy. With his expertise in technology, education and extensive experience in research and entrepreneurship, he has taught many outstanding and well-known young entrepreneurs.
